A nuestra gente, El Partido Comunista de Turquía sigue de cerca el proceso que cobró impulso con las declaraciones del presidente del MHP, Devlet Bahçeli, que adquirió dimensión con la toma de Damasco por el grupo yihadista HTS, que cuenta con el apoyo de varios países en Siria, y que entró en una nueva fase con el llamamiento escrito enviado por Öcalan, y las juntas autorizadas de nuestro partido están evaluando la cuestión en todas sus dimensiones. 1. El fin de los conflictos que han provocado que nuestros ciudadanos en Turquía se distancien entre sí debido a sus orígenes étnicos, se vean arrastrados a enfrentamientos sangrientos, dividan a los trabajadores y se alejen de la solución real a sus problemas, o el “silenciamiento de las armas”, como se utiliza la expresión, es un acontecimiento irresistible. 4. En lugar de reclamar derechos más allá de nuestras fronteras, deberíamos crear un país independiente, soberano y próspero dentro de nuestras propias tierras y garantizar que nuestros ciudadanos vivan libremente y en igualdad.

5. De igual modo, la búsqueda de establecer la “democracia y la hermandad” sobre una base religiosa en Turquía también es extremadamente peligrosa. Ningún problema en la esfera pública puede resolverse con referencias religiosas. Por el contrario, algunos de los problemas actuales en Turquía se derivan del hecho de que el secularismo está pisoteado y que las órdenes religiosas, al igual que los holdings, chupan la sangre del país. 6. También observamos con asombro las afirmaciones procedentes de los círculos gobernantes de que el proceso supone un gran avance para la democracia en Turquía. Cuando observamos a Turquía hoy, lo que vemos es que prevalecen una pobreza profunda y una enorme desigualdad social, el sentido de justicia ha desaparecido por completo y la tiranía y la anarquía se han convertido en la regla.

7. Contrariamente a lo que se desprende de la declaración de Öcalan y a lo que afirman frecuentemente círculos cercanos al gobierno, el PKK no es una organización marxista. En un momento en que está a la orden del día la autodisolución de esta organización, formada sobre bases nacionalistas, no permaneceremos indiferentes ante la vigilancia del gobierno para hacer recaer la responsabilidad del pasado sobre los revolucionarios y el socialismo. 8. El Partido Comunista de Turquía está decidido a garantizar la hermandad de los oprimidos, los pobres y los trabajadores de este país mediante la lucha contra el imperialismo, la explotación, el orden sectario y el monopolio del poder. To our people,

The Communist Party of Turkey is closely following the process that gained momentum with the statements of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, that gained dimension with the takeover of Damascus by the jihadist HTS supported by a number of countries in Syria, and that entered a new phase with the written call sent by Öcalan, and the authorized bodies of our party are evaluating the issue in all its dimensions. At the stage reached today, we feel the need to share some of these evaluations with the public:

1. The end of the conflicts that have caused our citizens in Turkey to be alienated from each other due to their ethnic origins, to be dragged into a bloody showdown, to divide the working people, and to distance themselves from the real solution of the problems, or the “silencing of the guns” as the expression is used, is an irresistible development. The TKP attributes a positive meaning to the calls made in this direction, and the agreements reached or to be reached.
2. However, what really needs to be emphasized is the goals, grounds and tools of the ongoing process. The statements of the parties regarding the process to date, the stance they have taken and the conclusions we have drawn from our observations on the field prevent us from sharing the optimism of some circles.
3. First of all, the claim that the subjects of this process are Turks and Kurds is not true. Those who have a say in the process are the political power or the People’s Alliance, and the PKK and affiliated formations that are being called to be dissolved. A process that is being carried out with class, ideological and political preferences cannot include all Turks and Kurds. 4. The thesis that «If Turks and Kurds form an alliance, Turkey will be the most important power in the region», which was voiced about ten years ago, is being brought up again by the parties that are the addressees of the process today. Turkey’s problems are not solved by making moves in regional competition and conflicts, on the contrary, new problems are created. As in the past, the TKP warns our people that Turkey’s efforts to increase its regional claims with a Neo-Ottomanist perspective will have great costs. It is obvious that the expansionist and conquestist strategies that have been openly advocated in some publications for months will not yield any results other than destruction for our country and our people. Instead of claiming rights beyond our borders, we should create an independent, sovereign, prosperous country in our own lands and ensure that our citizens live freely and with equality.
5. Relatedly, the search for establishing “democracy and brotherhood” on a religious basis in Turkey is also extremely dangerous. No problem in the public sphere can be solved with religious references. On the contrary, some of the problems in Turkey today stem from the trampling on secularism and the fact that religious orders suck the blood of the country just like holding companies. While our party emphasizes that freedom of belief and worship is an inviolable human right, it feels the need to reiterate that religion should be excluded from politics and state affairs.
6. We are also watching with astonishment the claims coming from the ruling circles that the process is a great gain for democracy in Turkey. When we look at Turkey today, we see that deep poverty and enormous social inequality prevail, the sense of justice has completely disappeared, and tyranny and irregularity have become the rule.
7. Contrary to what is implied in Öcalan’s statement and what is frequently claimed by circles close to the government, the PKK is not a Marxist organization. At a time when the dissolution of this organization, which was formed on nationalist foundations, is on the agenda, we will not remain indifferent to the government’s alertness to blame revolutionaries and socialism for the past. Marxism is in no way compatible with nationalism intertwined with liberalism, with an alliance with the US or Israel.
8. The Communist Party of Turkey is determined to ensure the brotherhood of the oppressed, the poor, and the workers in this country through the struggle against imperialism, exploitation, the conglomerate and sectarian order. We will reach the unity of the vast majority of this country, whether Turkish or Kurdish, who have been deprived of its riches, not with patriotic references to a thousand years ago, but with the realities of today.

Türkiye Komünist Partisi, MHP Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli’nin açıklamalarıyla ivme kazanan, Suriye’de bir dizi ülke tarafından desteklenen cihatçı HTŞ’nin Şam’ı ele geçirmesiyle boyutlanan ve Öcalan’ın yolladığı yazılı çağrı ile yeni bir aşamaya geçen süreci yakından takip etmekte, partimizin yetkili kurulları konuyu bütün boyutlarıyla değerlendirmektedir. Bugün gelinen aşamada bu değerlendirmelerin bir bölümünü kamuoyu ile paylaşma ihtiyacı duyuyoruz:

1. Türkiye’de yurttaşlarımızın etnik kökenleri nedeniyle birbirinden uzaklaşmasına, kanlı bir hesaplaşmanın içine sürüklenmesine, emekçi halkın bölünmesine, sorunların gerçek çözümünden uzaklaşmasına neden olan çatışmaların sona ermesi, kullanılan ifadeyle “silahların susması” karşı çıkılması mümkün olmayan bir gelişmedir. TKP bu doğrultuda yapılan çağrılara, varılan ya da varılacak anlaşmalara olumlu bir anlam yüklemektedir.

Bu bağlamda, özellikle iktidar çevrelerinde dile getirilen “Türk-Kürt kardeşliği” ifadesi gerçeği yansıtmamaktadır.
4. Bundan on yıl kadar önce de dillendirilen “Türkler ve Kürtler ittifak yaparsa Türkiye bölgenin en önemli gücü olur” tezi, bugün sürecin muhatabı olan taraflarca yine gündeme getiriliyor. Türkiye’nin sorunları, bölgesel rekabet ve çatışmalarda hamle yaparak çözülmez, tersine yeni sorunlar üretilir. TKP geçmişte olduğu gibi bugün de Yeni Osmanlıcı bir perspektifle Türkiye’nin bölgesel iddialarını artırmaya çalışmasının büyük maliyetleri olacağı konusunda halkımızı uyarmaktadır. Aylardır kimi yayın organlarında açık bir biçimde savunulan yayılmacı, fetihçi stratejilerin ülkemiz ve halkımız için yıkımdan başka sonuç vermeyeceği ortadadır. Sınırlarımızın ötesinde hak iddia etmek yerine kendi topraklarımızda bağımsız, egemen, refah içinde bir ülke yaratmalı, yurttaşlarımızın eşitlik içinde özgürce yaşamasını sağlamalıyız.
5. Bağlantılı olarak, Türkiye’de “demokrasi ve kardeşlik”i dinsel bir zeminde tesis etme arayışları da son derece tehlikelidir. Kamusal alanda hiçbir sorun dinsel referanslarla çözülemez. Tersine, bugün Türkiye’de sorunların bir bölümü laikliğin ayaklar altına alınmasından ve tarikatların tıpkı holdingler gibi memleketin kanını emmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Partimiz inanç ve ibadet özgürlüğünün dokunulmaz bir insan hakkı olduğunu vurgularken dinin siyaset ve devlet işlerinin dışına çıkarılması gerektiğini tekrar belirtme ihtiyacı duymaktadır.
6. İktidar çevrelerinden gelen, sürecin Türkiye’de demokrasinin büyük bir kazanımı olduğuna ilişkin iddiaları da şaşkınlıkla izliyoruz. Bugün Türkiye’ye baktığımızda gördüğümüz, derin bir yoksulluk ve muazzam bir toplumsal eşitsizliğin hüküm sürdüğü, adalet duygusunun tamamen yok olduğu, zorbalığın ve kuralsızlığın kural hâline geldiğidir.
7. Öcalan’ın açıklamasında ima edildiğinin ve yine iktidara yakın çevrelerin sık sık ileri sürdüğünün tersine, PKK Marksist bir örgüt değildir. Milliyetçi temellerde şekillenen bu örgütün kendini feshetmesinin gündemde olduğu bir sırada, iktidarın, geçmişin sorumluluğunu devrimcilere ve sosyalizme atma uyanıklığına kayıtsız kalmayacağız. Liberalizmle iç içe geçmiş bir milliyetçilikle, ABD ya da İsrail ile müttefiklikle Marksizm hiçbir biçimde bağdaşmaz.
8. Türkiye Komünist Partisi, bu ülkede ezilenlerin, yoksulların, emekçilerin kardeşliğini emperyalizme, sömürüye, holding ve tarikat düzenine karşı mücadeleyle sağlamak konusunda kararlıdır. Türk, Kürt, hangi kökenden olursa olsun, bu ülkenin zenginliklerinden mahrum bırakılmış büyük çoğunluğunun birliğine, bin yıl öncesine dönük hamasi atıflarla değil, bugünün gerçekleriyle ulaşacağız.

7. وعلى عكس ما يوحي به تصريح أوجلان وما يدعيه مراراً وتكراراً الدوائر القريبة من الحكومة، فإن حزب العمال الكردستاني ليس منظمة ماركسية. في الوقت الذي أصبح فيه حل هذه المنظمة التي تشكلت على أسس قومية على جدول الأعمال، فإننا لن نبقى غير مبالين بيقظة الحكومة في تحميل الثوار والاشتراكية مسؤولية الماضي. إن الماركسية لا تتفق بأي شكل من الأشكال مع القومية المتشابكة مع الليبرالية ومع التحالف مع الولايات المتحدة أو إسرائيل.
8. إن الحزب الشيوعي التركي عازم على ضمان أخوة المظلومين والفقراء والعمال في هذا البلد من خلال النضال ضد الإمبريالية والاستغلال والنظام الاستبدادي والطائفي. وسنصل إلى وحدة الغالبية العظمى من الناس الذين حرموا من ثروات هذا البلد، بغض النظر عن أصولهم، سواء أكانت تركية أم كردية، من خلال حقائق اليوم، وليس من خلال الإشارات الوطنية إلى ما قبل ألف عام.
